Have seen many cities around the world using a Hop-On, Hop-Off Bus. This one would be rated just so-so. The narrator was very knowledgeable but sitting downstairs it was a bit hard to hear her above some of the other guests chatter. The bus was supposed to be air conditioned but it was supposedly not working and it was hot and uncomfortable. The first bus was supposed to arrive at 9:30 and it arrived about 9:45 am. We chose to do the entire 2 hour tour and then were going to continue by getting off at the 2nd stop. By the time we had done the 2 hour tour we had no interest in continuing on..too hot, uncomfortable seating and too noisy.

This tour was good in that it takes you close to many areas you want to see such as Jackson Square, French Qtr., etc. It would be hard to pleas everyone, but for the most part you are hitting the highlights.

We enjoyed our "rides" on the Hop On Hop Off buses. They were crowded because it rained a lot. We used them for transportation around the city after our initial "get acquainted" ride.

Even it was a bit cold and windy in December, the Hop On, Hop Off bus was a great way to see New Orleans. The stops we made and "Hopped off" were worth our time and the bus was always there when it said it would to pick up us. Park the car and "Hop on".
