Day One (B,L,D):

After hotel pickup, leave the glimmering lights of Las Vegas behind you as your drive to Verde Valley in Sedona where you'll board the Wilderness Train for a 4-hour train ride. Before arrive it the station, you'll make a stop along Route 66 and see where animators were inspired to create the Cars.

The Verde Canyon, featuring an abundance of native flora and fauna, rugged, high-desert rock faces and spectacular vistas, is only accessible by rail. As you step aboard this popular excursion, complete with luxurious coaches and open-air viewing cars pulled by vintage diesel engines, expect to be captivated by this untouched and unspoiled canyon. From the moment you step aboard the fully-restored vintage train, you are whisked back to a time of luxurious and leisurely train travel. This 4-hour excursion takes you on a 20-mile journey through 100 years of history.

After your train journey you will have 3-hours to explore in Sedona. Located between two protected sanctuaries, the Coconino National Forest and the Prescott National Forest, the railroad runs a rare ribbon where dramatic high desert meets a precious riparian area. More than any other feature, Arizona is defined by canyons. All across the state, these great gorges in the landscape harbor scenery and secrets. One of the most spectacular is Verde Canyon. The towering red rock buttes and haunting formations with no roads or resorts, no homes or hotels. You’ve just conjured up an image of Verde Canyon. High cliff walls adorned with cactus and agave overlook this splashy oasis, while graceful cottonwoods and sycamores canopy the water.

Your first day will conclude with a ride to Williams for your overnight.

Accommodations: either the Super 8 Suites or Holiday Inn Express based on availability. Continental break, deli style lunch and sit down dinner are included.

Day Two (B, D):
After breakfast, you'll be taken to the Grand Canyon Railway Depot for your adventure through one of the natural wonders of the world. From it's former days of transporting ore through the Wild West to the present-day journeys in the heart of the canyon, the Grand Canyon Railway has enchanted millions of people from around the world since 1901 and now it’s time for you to experience the wonderful romance of a voyage by train. Take an unforgettable ride in a lovingly restored cars and hear folklore and tales from a crew who are still bewitched by their spectacular surroundings. Be entertained by authentic characters and musicians who bring the Old West to life. And lose yourself in the majesty, the magnificence that is Grand Canyon National Park.

You will have 4-hours at the Grand Canyon to explore between the different view points. Have lunch along the rim while taking in one-of-a-kind views. Your day will conclude with a drive back to Las Vegas.

Buffet breakfast and dinner are included, lunch is on your own.
