Board a coach bus in downtown Juneau from the Mt Roberts Tramway parking lot, and listen to lively narration from your driver during the 20-minute scenic journey to Auke Bay Harbor. Weather permitting, catch sight of the majestic Mendenhall Glacier from the warm comfort of your seat.

At the harbor, meet your crew and hop into your jet boat or catamaran with spacious viewing decks. You can stand outside or enjoy unrestricted views from inside the heated cabin. Set sail into the Inside Passage, a coastal route filled with glaciers and fjords.

Your experienced captain navigates you to key locations for sighting of orcas and humpbacks. Once a whale is spotted, your captain slows down the boat and turns off the motor.

From May to September, it's likely you'll see pods of whales, including calves as they glide alongside their mothers. Watch them roll along the water, and don’t be surprised if they move a little closer to your drifting boat.

Capture photos and video aplenty of the wildlife in the area. Look up and see eagles soaring above, and pass by rocky outcrops populated with sea lions, harbor seals and otters.
