Great tour of the Houston downtown area. Viator never disappoints.

great tour, with a great guide. The downfall was that it was a rainy day and the vehicle restricted our viewsomewhat. The guide worked hard to get us out to see the sites and enjoy the tour. Five stars to our GUIDE. The 4 stars was for weather, which the tour had zero control over. Great city. If you are in Houston, you need to do this tour, just to embrace the city. No traffic, no people on the street. Take the tour to find out why one of the largest cities has no traffic.

Once the tour started, it was great. Unfortunately they missed our stop and we had to wait almost 2 hours from the scheduled time
the bus was to come by. I was able to contact Viator and talk and actually talk someone who advised/confirmed bus was still coming by. No reason was ever provided for the late arrival. The driver however was very good and knowledgeable and provided a lot of interesting trivia and information. Overall, we would still recommend this tour.

1. The tour started an hour and a half late. We were waiting in the Houston sweltering heat.
2. We sat in the back because there was a little shade. But every time the bus stopped at a red light, it smelled of fumes.
3. It was not a double decker bus. Okay.. No big deal!
4. But this is the main issue other than the tardiness:
There was NO HOP ON HOP OFF!
If you are a tourist, you want to know where we could get off and what to see.
We went in circles seeing the same buildings twice and he brought us back to where we started in less than an hour.
Where they making up time because they were running late?
We have used the same tours in Chicago, New York and San Francisco. There was absolutely no comparison.
5. Suggestions: Houston may not compare to major cities, but don't make this tour so bleak and boring.
Adding a trip to the Wall and the Galleria would be good.
Don't just advertise that it is a HOP ON HOP OFF if it is not really that.
Train your drivers about the stops.
Perhaps a little flyer could say exactly where the stops are and when the buses would come to these stops.If that is not cost effective,
post it on the website.
But if there are no changes to this tour, tourists are better off taking Uber.
Sorry about the rating -- but this was pretty pathetic!

This tour was awful. We got on at the farmers market, road to let the people off that were going to the space center, sat there in the sun for about 30 minutes. Then we road to a hotel to pick up other people and then back to the market. The bus was in ragged condition. We also did the Hop-ON Hop-Off in San Antonio and found it great

The tour guide was very informative, he gave full details of the different places we went. The city of downtown Houston has nice shopping areas, hotels and it is kept very clean. Nearby places to visit are the zoo, museum and restaurants. We enjoyed it.

Host was extremely knowledgeable about the city. Experience was top notch.

Great insight into Houston's history.

The guide was very well informed and very interesting. He was also interested in us. I would suggest that it be much clearer as to where you get the tour. We had no idea and were at the Convention Center. We called and were told to go outside of the Hilton. That is not where the tour picked us up. We just saw the bus on the street and waved it down.

The tour isn't really a hop on hop off, just a 90 minute bus ride that takes you to some of the key districts in Houstons, however you don't get the opportunity to get off the bus. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly.
