Make your way to the 15-acre Wild Florida grounds to begin your adventure. Though you’re just a 45-minute drive from Orlando, you’ll feel as though you’ve been dropped into the wilds of a distant, exotic land. Surrounded by 100,000 acres of Everglades, you won’t see any human developments or homes ─ just the sprawl of nature.
An experienced animal keeper details what to expect for the day and informs you about what makes the Central Florida Everglades a unique habitat that supports dozens of species of wildlife. Learn about the distinctive habits of the park’s gators, eagles and other birds and plants.
Prepare your nerves for a private gator demonstration with the expert staff, which will give you the opportunity to feed the 14 footers... if you dare. You’ll be able to take a photo to prove it.
See the Everglades up close and personal when you board an airboat for a fun-filled hour coasting across intriguing swamps and wetlands. This VIP tour wraps up with an authentic Florida barbecue lunch, where you’ll have time to relax and recount your favorite experiences of the day before you head on your way.
If you were ever interested in seeing what a career working with animals is like, this is your chance to experience it.
Please note: The minimum age for this tour is 12. You will be able to buy a flash drive of all photos for $25.
