Loved the drive to Denali, lunch and dessert and just adored the flight and landing on the glacier.

If possible I would give this excursion six stars as it was so awesome. It was amazing to see the mountains and glaciers from the air with an experienced guide. It was the high light of our entire trip to Alaska by far. We were blessed with a very clear day and good weather. The pilot was awesome and took our picture with Denali in the back ground and again with us in front of the plane. The plane held 10 passengers and was very steady. The down size was that we had not realized we had to take a 4 hour bus trip from Anchorage to the location where we got on the plane. So it is a very long excursion. We fell in love with the resort town of Talkeetna and wish we could have not more time there. It took a long time to get all the folks from all the hotels. We did not have time to sit down and eat in Talkeetna but had to pick up a pastry and eat on the run as we were scheduled to board the plane. Better scheduling would have helped this. Denali is the official name for Mt McKinley but I imagine more folks have heard of Mt. McKinley. Landing on the glacier and seeing Denali was the light of the entire trip to Alaska for us. Highly recommend this excursion.

OMG! What an experience! This was the BEST part of our entire trip to Alaska. I'm so glad my husband talked me into doing this.

Although McKinley was clouded out of the experience, we'll take that up with God.

Though it was very cloudy that particular, the pilot with his vast experience safely landed the plane on the glacier. Walking on the thick snow with the snow boots provided by the Operator was a fantastic experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the flight around Mt McKinley and to see in close views of the snow capped mounts and various glaciers.
