Great for both novice and experienced fishermen (and women!), this five-hour deep-sea fishing cruise is a great way to enjoy the beautiful Pacific waters near Newport Beach. Hop aboard and set out on a deep-sea adventure off the California coast. The boat’s knowledgeable and friendly staff will help you set up your rods and hooks and show you the best fishing techniques for catching trophy fish. Fish commonly caught include bass, sheepshead, sculpin, bonito, barracuda, white sea bass and mackerel.

From Newport Beach, cruise along Orange County's coastline past Long Beach, Corona Del Mar, Huntington Beach and Dana Point. While you’re waiting for the fish to bite, sit back and enjoy the gorgeous coastal scenery.

Your state-of-the-art deep-sea fishing boat is fully equipped with spacious indoor and outdoor seating, restrooms and a full-service snack bar (snacks and drinks available for purchase).

Fork length is the straight-line distance from the tip of the head to the center of the tail fin. Tip of the head shall be the most anterior point on the fish with the mouth closed and the fish lying flat on its side.

Unless otherwise provided, all fish, mollusks or crustaceans less than the legal minimum size or greater than the maximum legal size must be returned immediately to the water from which they were taken

Great fishing experience. Got plenty of fish to take home with my dad and uncle. Had a great time. You meet up at Daveys Locker out in Newport Beach and get put on a boat and head out to the ocean. Great people. Great atmosphere. Definitely doing this again.

We had a great time spending the morning fishing out on the open sea. I am not a fisherman, so I was worried that I wasn’t going to catch anything, but I ended up catching at least six fish! The crew was super helpful and friendly, and they were willing to assist with everything from set up to helping land the bigger fish. We went to a few different locations and everyone on board caught at least a few fish overall. At the end of the trip, they filleted the fishes so we could take them home cleaned and ready-to-cook. It was a really fun way to spend the day!

I’ve always wanted to go deep-sea fishing, so this was the perfect opportunity. The captain and crew were amazing and we had an awesome time! They provided the fishing poles and bait and we were able to purchase the lures right in the office before we left. I caught a good amount of fish and really had an enjoyable time. I definitely recommend this to anyone, whether they are an avid fisherman or someone who has never even picked up a pole!

It was a great experience and the crew was awesome. The captain even had my daughter help him reel in a big catch, a sea lion took as it came to the top but it was still cool to watch.
