Upon arrival at the pick up location you will be greeted by one of our guides who will walk
you over to our vehicle. You are then shuttled to the river in either a van or bus, this takes
about 1 hour and 15 minutes from our downtown location. The vehicle you are shuttled in is the
same one you will take back to the location you were picked up from, you can either leave
your belongings in this vehicle which will be locked the whole time, or you can put items in
the dry bags that we provide for every boat. We also provide drinking water on every boat
in addition to all the equipment necessary for whitewater rafting.
This section of theUpper Klamath is approximately 14 miles and contains class I-IV+ rapids, you will
spend approximately 5 hours on the water. Once at the put-in location, guests will enjoy a continental breakfast as the guides prepare the rafts. At the start of the trip the guides will go over safety and paddle commands, this ensures that you will have a successful day
on the river. Prior to lunch will have experienced some of the most exciting whitewater Southern Oregon has to offer.
After lunch guests will then continue on through more exciting rapids before arriving at the take-out location in Northern California. There are plenty of opportunities between rapids to get out of the boat and do some swimming as well as see some of the wonderful wildlife that Southern Oregon and Northern California have to offer. Once the rafting trip has concluded you will be
shuttled back to the location you were picked up from. Appropriate for ages 12 and up.
